Started 2021 race season in beautiful Lake Havasu City, AZ. The weather was perfect and practice went well in my Polaris RZR !
In just the few practice laps I could already tell the race was going to get rough. The combination of sand and rock along the shores of the lake make for super rutted, tough track but I felt super confident it wasn’t anything my KMC Wheels, GBC Tire with Tire Blocks combination couldn’t handle!
The green flag dropped Sunday afternoon and after starting 2nd row I slowly started making my way through the pack. After a mid-race tip over in a sandy rutted corner, I had some time I needed to make up and start to push the pace! I pulled out a 4th place finish and feel great about the points gained for the start of the season.
The next race will be in February in Blythe, California, Followed by the Parker 250 BITD short course race.
